Health Reform Task Force
 

In response to passage of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in March 2010, Mayor Newsom announced the creation of a Health Reform Task Force to analyze the potential impact of health reform in San Francisco. The mission of the Health Reform Task Force will be to plan for a San Francisco health care safety net that thrives under Health Reform and the State's Section 1115 Medicaid Waiver.

 

PRESENTATION OF FINAL REPORT:
The San Francisco Health Reform Task Force (HRTF) met for the final time on March 22, 2011. The recommendations of the HRTF will be presented to the San Francisco Health Commission on April 19, 2011. The meeting will be at 4:00 pm in Room 300 at 101 Grove Street. The public is welcome to attend.

The Health Reform Task Force briefing binder includes background information to provide task force members with a common foundation for their discussions. The briefing binder will be continually updated with new information as the Task Force proceeds with its work.
