The mission of the AB 75 Project is to provide access to health care, promote health and well-being, and prevent serious illness and disability for indigent families and individuals through the funding of health services, and advocating and partnering for care.
The AB 75 Project is a diverse collaborative team comprised of a staff of four staff persons. The AB 75 Project pays for emergency medical services at the following hospital emergency rooms:
California Pacific Medical Center
The Medical Center at UCSF
St. Francis Memorial Hospital
St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center
St. Luke’s Hospital
The Project also pays for obstetric and pediatric services in physician offices. The AB 75 Project employs a fiscal intermediary, AmeriChoice, to process claims for its private hospital and physician programs.
