Spiritual Care Services

Spiritual Care Services are available for all residents. We offer a personal, attentive and non-judgmental spiritual presence, while recognizing the unique gifts that each person brings and cherishing each individual’s spirit, feelings, beliefs, culture and life story. We nurture these gifts by striving to facilitate the dynamic needs of persons of all faiths and no expressed faith in their search for meaning, love, connection, comfort and hope. Laguna Honda Hospital offers regular worship services and special religious observances for a variety of faiths, visits by clergy of your faith, spirituality groups, and a friendly visitor program. Chapels are located on the first floor of the Main Building and on the third floor of Clarendon Hall. Main Building scheduled services are posted on the first floor (near the elevators) and on the fifth floor (across from the vending machines) and in Clarendon Hall on the first floor next to the security desk. Services are open to all residents who wish to attend. If you would like a schedule of services, require assistance to attend services or need further assistance with spiritual matters please contact the Spiritual Care Office at (415) 759-3043 or visit the office located in the hospital’s A Wing, third floor, Rooms 303 and 304. Your nurse manager and/or social worker can also assist you in making this contact.
