San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center’s Transportation Services Program has been created to meet the transportation planning and management needs of patients, staff, and visitors. Several keys goals of the SFGH Transportation Services Program include:
Promote the use of alternative forms of transportation
Reduce single-occupant auto use
Create tools which aid patients, staff, and visitors in the use of alternative forms of transportation
Collaborate with organizational and governmental partners to assess, address, and improve transportation services
Minimize the negative environmental and human health impacts of auto emissions
Promote affordable, effective alternative transportation for the SFGH community and SFGH commuters
