| Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Housing Work Group |
| Commissioned by Board of Supervisors’ Resolution 0380-06 and convened by the Department of Public Health, Housing and Urban Health Section, the Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Housing Work Group is charged with developing a new Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Housing Plan for San Francisco. The second such plan in San Francisco’s history, the new plan will reflect the current realities and housing needs of low-income San Franciscans living with HIV/AIDS. First convened in September 2006, the Work Group will meet for a total of six months (through February 2007) before drafting and presenting plan recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
For a better understanding of the Work Group's efforts, please review the materials posted below. Understand, however, that presentations and comments made at meetings do not necessarily represent the collective views of the Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Housing Work Group, nor are they the responsibility of the facilitating Department of Public Health, unless so noted. Also, the Work Group cannot guarantee the accuracy of all data presented by individuals at meetings. Given these realities, final recommendations will stem from continuous dialogue between Work Group participants and members of the public throughout the six month meeting period; the San Francisco Board of Supervisors will be responsible for translating recommendations into policy as appropriate.
