Request For Proposals (RFP) 49-2018
Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)
WELLNESS IN THE STREETS

RFP 49-2018 The San Francisco Department of Public Health is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to invite single agency and multi-agency collaborations to provide Wellness in the Streets programming to unserved and underserved communities. The department encourages both competition and collaboration among different agencies to meet the needs of homeless and unhoused San Francisco residents who experience mental health issues.

The Wellness in the Streets project will foster a peer-based mental health team that will work with unhoused individuals directly on the streets, in their environment, in order for the individual to be successful in their personal recovery. The purpose of this project will be to increase access to underserved populations, with the target population being San Francisco adult and older adult residents who are homeless that do not typically access behavioral health services despite experiencing behavioral health needs. The selected service provider(s) will be expected to provide all of the activities listed in this RFP.
