Training Opportunities

Welcome to the San Francisco EMS Agency training opportunities page. This is your one stop shop for all things training. If you are interested in becoming an EMS provider, below you can find EMS training programs that are offered in the San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. We also have information regarding continuing education courses that are offered for those of you who are in need of hours to renew your certifications. If you are interested in CPR/First aid training, or more disaster centered training you can find that under both the CPR section, and the other training opportunities section below.

Mary Magocsy Sim Center

The San Francisco EMS Agency has named the new Simulation Center, the Mary Magocsy Sim Center. Mary began her career in San Francisco as an ER nurse, Disease Emergency Response Coordinator and then found her home at the EMS Agency as an Emergency Medical Service Specialist. During her time with the EMS Agency Mary was influential in making the EMS Agency what it is today. We want to continue her dedication to EMS by using this Sim Center to improve patient care within San Francisco and also be prepared for anything that may happen in the future. Using state of the art Sim Manikins we will be able to bring scenarios to life and immerse the providers during training. The Mary Magocsy Sim Center will serve as a vital resource for all of our EMS providers within San Francisco City and County.
