Tobacco 21

 

The sale of tobacco products is prohibited in San Francisco to those under 21 years old since June 9, 2016. There are no exceptions in the local law or in the California Stop Tobacco Access to Kids Enforcement (CA STAKE) act, including no exceptions for military personnel.

All tobacco establishments must post BOTH of the following signs at the tobacco products point of sale area:

Sale of Tobacco Prohibited to those under age 21, including military      California Red Sign stating that Sale of Tobacco is prohibited to those under age 21

 

Signage may also be requested through the San Francisco Tobacco Free Project.

If you would like to make a complaint regarding the illegal sale of tobacco to minors or a related tobacco sales complaint, call 311.
