The Budget Committee of the Commission will consider the consent calendar on this agenda at 1:00 p.m. at 101 Grove. The Budget Committee Consent Calendar consists of two sections. The first section is for items that will be considered for approval. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Budget Committee so requests. The second section consists of items that will be for discussion and approval.

Consent Calendar items that have been recommended for approval by the Budget Committee will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Health Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Health Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item.

3.1 PHP-Housing & Urban Health – Request for approval of a new contract with the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, in the amount of $240,352, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide permanent supportive housing for severely mentally ill adults, for the period of March 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 (16 months).

3.2 PHP-Housing & Urban Health – Request for approval of a retroactive new contract with Dolores Street Community Services, in the amount of $428,400, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide community stabilization and single room occupancy (SRO) fire prevention in the Mission District for the period of January 1, 2007 through June 30 2008 (1.5 years).

3.3 AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a renewal contract with Project Open Hand, in the amount of $4,795,840, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide delivered Meal/Grocery Center services to individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, for the period of March 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010 (3.5 years).

3.4 AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a renewal contract with Walden House, in the amount of $4,327,612, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide comprehensive monitored residential detox and residential substance abuse services to individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, for the period of March 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010 (3.5 years).

3.5 AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a renewal contract with Tenderloin Health, in the amount of $3,064,135, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide Centers of Excellence services for Tenderloin residents who are living with HIV/AIDS and severe needs, or members of special populations, for the period of March 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010 (3.5 years).

3.6 AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a renewal contract with UCSF AIDS Health Project, in the amount of $1,277,410, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide outpatient mental health services to individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, for the period of March 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010 (3.5 years).
