The Budget Committee of the Commission will consider the consent calendar on this agenda at 2:00 p.m. at 101 Grove. The Budget Committee Consent Calendar consists of two sections. The first section is for items that will be considered for approval. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Budget Committee so requests. The second section consists of items that will be for discussion and approval.

Consent Calendar items that have been recommended for approval by the Budget Committee will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Health Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Health Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item.

(3.1) Central Admin.-MIS – Request for approval of a sole source renewal contract with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., in the amount of $9,900,000, to provide product and professional services for the Department of Public Health, for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2012 (5 years).

(3.2) Central Admin.-MIS – Request for approval of a sole source renewal contract with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., in the amount of $9,858,327, to provide ongoing remote computing services for the Department of Public Health, for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2012 (5 years).

(3.3) CHN-SFGHMC – Request for approval of a retroactive new contract with Apheresis Care Group, Inc., in the amount of $300,000, to provide as-needed, mobile therapeutic apheresis services for San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center, for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 (1 year).

(3.4) CHN-Jail Health Services – Request for approval of a contract renewal with Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, in the amount of $3,961,629, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide psychiatric and substance abuse treatment services targeting inmates in the San Francisco County Jail systems, for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 (1 year).

(3.5) AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a retroactive renewal contract with Mission Neighborhood Health Center, in the amount of $840,000, which includes a 12% contingency, to support Clinica Esperanza services to individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009 (3 years).

(3.6) AIDS Office-HIV Health Services – Request for approval of a retroactive renewal contract with Positive Resource Center, in the amount of $420,000, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide client advocacy and benefits counseling services to individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, for the period of January 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009 (2.5 years).

(3.7) BHS-MIS – Request for approval of a sole source contract renewal with The Echo Group, in the amount of $974,786, which includes a 12% contingency, to provide ongoing system maintenance and application support services for the INSYST software application, for Community Mental Health Services, for the term July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009 (2 years).
