This is a one hour course covering basic back and upper extremities (shoulders, neck, arms and wrists) body mechanics. Topics covered include:
Course content is appropriate for workers interested in general body mechanics training to provide a good foundation for approaching the physical demands of their job duties safely. This course does not address patient lifting techniques.
All classes are held at 101 Grove Street, Room 220.
Pre-registration for classes is mandatory.

You must have supervisory approval to attend the class. Supervisors must send the enrollment request.

Please note that we have limited space in our classes and classes do fill quickly. We ask that participants give us at least 72 hours notice if they cannot attend a class so that someone from the waiting list can be contacted.
